The music of The Three Stars, their zenith and the spirit of an era live on

"Gold records in the snow..."

The music didn't die on February 3, 1959. Visit The Surf Speaks: Voices of a Living History to learn about the project I co-founded with my twin sister Sherry Davis focusing on the historic Surf Ballroom (the final performance venue of rock 'n' roll pioneers, "The Three Stars" Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and " The Big Bopper" J.P. Richardson) and the "February Family" who've help sustain their zenith and the spirit of an era since 1979.

Out of our silent observation, a small plane approached, making two passes above us and disappearing into the last light of the day's fading horizon.
